i wouldnt necessarily say he deserved waht he got for what he was doing, but it was a very stupid mistake and he should've known better. RIP

gtboys34 03-15-2006 06:38 PM

lol at some of those replies: " got any pics of the tree", "holy crap is that a car" and a few others

Unknown_Sniper 03-15-2006 06:42 PM

that guy had a lot of work done to that car. And in the end, none of it helped keep him safe.

gtboys34 03-15-2006 06:45 PM

i read that it was stock

Unknown_Sniper 03-15-2006 06:47 PM

negative. My roomate is an avid Subaru enthusiest who has done work on his own suby. He told me that the guy had some STI parts, different a-arms, and other things done to the car.

gtboys34 03-15-2006 06:50 PM

did your roomate know the victim or was he judging by the photo's of the...........car?

Unknown_Sniper 03-15-2006 06:52 PM

photos of the car.

Jotun 03-15-2006 06:54 PM

[quote="Unknown_Sniper":c5c8d]photos of the car.[/quote:c5c8d]
its hardly recognizable as a car...its a mass of twisted metal, how the hell can your roomate distinguish car part brands from burnt twisted metal? I smell bullshit.

gtboys34 03-15-2006 06:55 PM

that's cool he was able to see that because i can't tell what or where anything is except the tires and the frame of the backseat

Milla 03-15-2006 07:21 PM

What a waste of a beautiful machine. There was one guy who wrecked his STi into someones garage here in VA doing like 80 mph, went straight through into the backyard.

Just because your car is fast and is a rally car doesn't mean you can do this shit on the streets. Save that shit for the track.

RIP to the guy though.

Yeah. Few years ago some kids were goin about 90 in a Mustang and hit a small tree. One died, one almost paralyzed. eek: oOo:

Damn those trees.

geRV 03-16-2006 11:41 AM

Definition of a tree:

Something that sits still for thousands of years then jumps out in front of women drivers. biggrin:

LMAO

Arkan 03-16-2006 12:20 PM

Only good thing about it was no one else was injured or killed. Want to see how fast your car goes? Do it the same way as he did so if you wreck, only you risk injury. RIP though.....not a nice way to go.

anti 03-16-2006 12:31 PM

darwin strikes again! not as bad as that skyline crash though.

thats because the sky line didnt stay together like the WRX. Instead it broke in two and wrapped around a street pole or something like that.

I wish i could show you guys the video but i can't find it anywhere on the net. The video shows the accident from the back. Someone just happened to be recording a video on their bus (tour bus) when all of sudden about 20 yds in front of them, an 18 wheeler you could see coming from her far right comes all the way across 3 lanes of traffic to smash this single car you see in the pic and flattens it against the wall. The bus had some minor damage near the front panel ( dent, smahed door to the bus). Everyone afterward were like "how did he survive", it's not humanly possible (lmao) and some other bs that they said. The guy is in the hospital 'recovering'

I forgot where i read it...but reminds me of the moron chicks whose daddies are rich and bought em a lamborgini murcieago (sp?) and a ferrari enzo...one of the most rarest cars in the world...and they were street racing and smashed them.

yeah too bad at least parst of that isnt true, you couldnt buy your kid a ferarri enzo. if you want to buy an enzo, ferarri picks YOU to buy it out of the people that want one. so unless this guy was probably bill gates or someone else really famous, he didnt get an enzo.

You dont need to be famous. You have to have owned 2 ferraris and be selected to own one by ferarri. Its entirely possible that some guy who owns 2 ferarris got an Enzo for his girl. However, when someone crashes an Enzo it usually gets spread around the car world rather fast, and last I heard no girl has crashed one.

gtboys34 03-19-2006 02:53 PM

ya'll have heard about the guy out in malibu who crashed his enzo right? Cnn had a report on it last weekend that was pretty interesting.

Unknown_Sniper 03-19-2006 08:58 PM
