magnesium citrate is your friend

Machette 04-05-2006 04:44 PM

Had a stomach ulcer for a week back in mid-october last year..hurt like a son of a bitch, only way it settled was when I was lying down. That was the last time I got something that was of great concern to me. Every now and then I get one for a few minutes, not a big deal. I eat well too so I guess it's just my digestive system doing its business. Maybe something from the past is catching up to you judas.

dont really have too much from the pasts ... never was a big drinker and the drugs i did wouldnt have any effect on my stomach ... havent dont either for quite a number of years.

wtf does 'magnesium citrate' do ?

I sometimes have pretty bad stomach spasms.... I remember it was worse when I was a kid, sometimes I would literally be on the ground from the pain. still dont know for sure what causes/caused em....

A stomach ulcer? What were you so worried about? The bush administration blowing up the world?

Arkan 04-05-2006 07:01 PM

Judas, if you alter your diet greatly, you may want to consult a Doctor. Your body isn't used to what you're feeding it. Go see a Doctor.

I used to have Irritable bowel syndrome where anytime I got excited, nervous, upset I would have to shit like a beast.

Hawke 04-05-2006 08:15 PM

I had bad stomach problems and was put on medicine for it. My eating habits weren't to great and fucked up my stomach so of course I had to change my diet. I started drinking ALOT of water and milk. It helped my stomach a ton. (And I know it wasnt the pills because when I was on them, my stomach still felt terrible)

As for your eating, don't cut out meat. Just don't eat to much. You can eat anything you want, just don't be a pig about it.

eek: oOo: rolleyes: sleeping: hake:

Doctor said I was drinking too many acids and probably from stress that I was going through at that time..

Stammer 04-05-2006 09:27 PM

i had the stomach flu all last week and I finally was able to eat better again just this week

TonyMontana 04-05-2006 09:44 PM

i went through a period of bad stomach problems. i think it was stress related. but ever since i started going to the gym i haven't had any problems whatsoever

Chiodos86 04-05-2006 11:06 PM

it's because when you encorpate all those types of foods into your diet after having them in absense your body starts to pull the vitamins it would normally get from those foods out of other sources, and then you pile them on top of what your body is already producing it overloads..this happened with my brother he was a vegetarian for a good year then when he came back home my dad cooked him a burger and it ripped his stomach up, nothing to worry about it should go away after your body balances out. \

a tip would be to eat smaller portions and gradually build them up over a period of a few weeks

hope this helps yah dude

well from your post it sounded like your a veggie:

"i just started eating better again ( ie eating mostly greenary and fruit ) "

I understand it may be hip or cool or trendy to be a veggie but your body needs the protiens from meat.
Not to mention the farts veggoes put out to help global warming

Judas 04-06-2006 12:49 PM

im not doing it to be trendy im doing it to cut some pounds. fruit instead of pringles , etc.

Pyro 04-06-2006 01:39 PM

c312 04-07-2006 10:24 AM

same thing happened to me. when I cam to college I started to eat salads cause they have really good ones at the dining halls and they normally don't have as long of a line as the other places, so because of the increased greenery (which is really, really fibery, especially if it's spinach salad, which is something like 85% fiber) I was shitting like crazy until I got used it.
