You forgot to have a stupid, annoying, unskippable flash intro with emo music like most sites do. Work on it.

Scorpion -]M15F1T[- 04-20-2006 02:07 AM

I likey but with a couple of criticisms:

The font on the handprint image looks a little too blurry/distorted
also you gona add any effects to the buttons etc cos it seems a little
static atm.

BTW I am looking at this on a work pc so the display on my end may not be all that.

Simo Häyhä 04-20-2006 02:45 AM

how the fuck do you play airsoft?
Just shoot each other with BBs?

think paintball with bbs

we set up gametypes and scenarios like ctf, downed pilot rescue, straight assaults, etc

You'll shoot yer eye out!

RaNgeR 04-20-2006 12:14 PM

How can you trust the other person to get out? Paintball is shady these days...wiping is part of the game now.

Zoner 04-20-2006 12:19 PM

I have a feeling that when you shoot someone, the blood-curdling "OH FFFUUCCCKKKK!! YEEEEEEEEEEOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWW" is pretty much a tell-tale sign.

eek: It doesn't hurt that bad. However I did get shot in the bare forearm with a paintball at point-blank and let out a big "FUCK". happy:

Zoner 04-20-2006 12:50 PM

Jeezus, I'm only kidding around. Lighten up fuckers. rolleyes:

Simo Häyhä 04-20-2006 01:04 PM

ive been hit in the neck a few times with a paintball. left a huge welt

c312 04-20-2006 01:10 PM

^ yeah, i got hit in the back of the neck from about 20 ft, that hurt like hell.

Here's a question, what happens to the plastic BBs after you shoot them. Some of you guys on here have guns that probably spread a lot of plastic and if you play outside, isn't that bad for the environment. If you play inside, isn't it a pain to clean up?

great job headup.

Ive been shot by bbs, and it doesnt hurt too much. Getting hit by paintballs doesnt hurt too much either. Im not sure about any of you, but I used to play hardcore tourney paintball. It got kind of tiresome for me, but my team went on to get 3rd place at 5 man world cup. There are certain spots where getting shot hurts...more often than not the only time I ever really hurt after getting shot was when I would get lit up 15 times from a few feet away while a guy bunkered me. The welts left by airsoft guns arent too big in my experience; thats why I would worry about people cheating...nyck also brought up a good point.

Jin-Roh 04-20-2006 02:36 PM

I once consumed several copper BBs. I never got sick. eek:

Unknown_Sniper 04-20-2006 02:44 PM

there is a certain amount of trust. From what IVe seen so far the peopel that play airsoft are not 12 year old brats. They are people who are really into the Milsim type of game and they have enough common sense to call out their hit or else they keep getting shot.
Nice site

I'm trying to get into tourney paintball. I'm trying to sell/trade my stuff but am having no luck.

Milla 04-20-2006 03:39 PM

You can still feel a bb hit you in the chest with a vest on, i think airsoft is more urban than open field

thanks, and yeah ppl who play sign off on being honest in the waiver, players range from ages 16 to 40s, if youre caught cheating youre thrown out of the game

our fields are all woodland, except the hospital, but we havent played there yet

RaNgeR 04-20-2006 04:14 PM

I would get into airsoft, anyone want to point me in the direction of some good links?

Milla 04-20-2006 04:32 PM

http://www.evike.com (US based where i buy most of my things)

http://www.uncompany.com (overseas in Hong Kong, but they have really nice stuff for good prices)

http://www.airsoftgi.com (US based)

http://www.airsoftatlanta.com (US based obviously)

If you buy any type of gun make sure you buy it from the US based ones, sometimes if you order from overseas customs will sieze it and hold it for a bit until it is released.

RaNgeR 04-20-2006 04:59 PM

Is there a decent starter gun / package?

Milla 04-20-2006 05:24 PM

http://www.evike.com/Merchant2/merchant ... AEG_MATRIX

Supposedly that ones pretty good, while not a great gun because its not as reinforced as the more expensive ones, i hear it holds its own.
