you poor fuckers growing up in the 0x's.

the quality of "pop" music in this era is such a fuking disgrase. i thought id give dling one of those "top x of 2000" compilations and give it a try. what id get ? a couple a hundred bad rap / rb tracks with a few shitty "pop metal" bands thrown in. this has to be the worst time ever for pop/rock music, where every thing is dominated by shitty stupid ass teen rnb artists/rap , and bad rock artists.

its truly a sad time for music.

Generally I agree, but girls seem to love grinding to that annoying ass Shakira song. Best bet of hooking up these days is dance with her to that one. "I'm on tonight" or whatever it is.

That one's not too bad. The worst one right now IMO is that new pussycat dolls song with the bleeps every 5 seconds.

if you can call it "music" .. it is no more than the selling of an image, the music is only the computer generated beat that you sell your image along to.

i agree completely, popular music is a joke, they just play the same 20 songs over and over until you are completely sick of them, then they move onto the next batch of 20 or so.. it's almost like they just randomize the lyrics in pervious hit's to make brand new hit's to sell to all the tone-deaf children..

but there is hope, as there are alot of new bands doing some great things with music..

Agreed. Music is what YOU like who gives a fuck waht other people think about it. I personally like a lot of new music, though not all of it like most rap sucks and same with pop but I do like a lot of new rock music.

^^ i agree totally. hey, if you like it, so fuking be it. i hate people who think that listen to x genre music defines them as a person. i tend to believe that the wider range of music you appreciate the better able you are to label music as bad/good. if youll only listen to metal and metal only, chances are you arent going to know a good rnb song if you hear one.

my theroy, if it sounds good, it is. i like "good" music, be it wtf ever genre. 0x's music is not good music.

If you judge todays music mostly on stuff that is presented in pop charts and on commercial radio then I'd mostly agree with you but thats just the tip of the iceberg.

I think todays music is fantastic, sounds corny but if you look further than commercial charts, mtv and big fat coporate music labels then you'll find an incredible amount of great music
