College Update
 

I know some of you are in college.. how are things after the first week? I moved into my triple with my room mates. One is from Buffalo NY and one is from Providence RI..both are cool kids, but the kid from RI is messy as fuck and makes the room smell somehow, he also doesnt smoke..and thats what vermont is for. He also has people over allllll the time. Well, I have people over all the time too, but he has kids over at like 7 in the morning, and I just cant handle that. Things are going smooth though..my other roomie is a good kid, and we have dead prez, diplomats, and jurassic 5 on 24/7. I LOVE my professors..although some are a little granolaish. I seriously wish high school had been like this...my only complaint: Morning classes...Im already tired of waking up at 7:30. Although its cool that Im done by 11:30 every day and have a break from 9:20 to 10:30. Saint Michaels is wild almost every night...Ive been having the time of my life, I hope you guys are too. <3 Oh, if anyone is in the area feel free to stop by

My roommate was a little messy but halfway through the semester you say fuck it and just never clean up. I would just go over to my girl's place instead of the other way around. Dorm life the first year was cool, but I won't trade my apartment for anything now.

Why does he have people over @ 7? Or do you mean they're still hanging around from 11:00 earlier that night? I don't know any college students that would voluntarily wake up that early just to go over to some dude's place.

I hated waking up early too because I had classes @ 8:00. Of course I stayed out until 4:00 most nights too. If you go to bed at a reasonable time waking up @ 7:30 is no big deal. That's just part of being a freshman, there's not much choice in class schedule because you're the last to register and all the good classes are already taken. I wake up @ 6:00 now to go to work and I have evening classes, then I go to bed @ 10:00 so whatever. I'm old.

Im also taking graduate style classes so it's a smooth 100 pages of reading per night per class. Enjoy fucking off while you can. I sure as hell did my freshman year. I never went to class.

i take 17 hours and i wake up every morning at 5 and do ranger challenge pt till 7 30 then i go to class during the day, lift in the evening, study at night and get to sleep around 12 every night. wooohooo college life.

yeah, after awhile you won't care about how messy the room is. that's how it got in our room when i was in res. i remember my friends roommate was the worst. he would get too lazy to go to the bathroom which was down the hall, so he would piss in water bottle containers and leave it laying around int he room. at one point he went to piss in the recycling bin but ended up pissing in one of his open drawers by accident (which happened to contain his utencils).

go to classes, or you'll regret it. i fucked up pretty hard because i generally became too lazy to do anything (fall asleep at 10am and wake up at 9pm). i wouldn't even get myself food, i'd beg people to do it for me. those were the greatest days of my life happy:

fuck res was awsome...drink till around 4 or 5...then bongs till you pass out.

So vermont is treating you well? Good. Im moving back to school sunday. As soon as I unpack I have some crown royal and capt mo to finish.
It sucks you have to be up early but oh well, you're a freshman suck it up. Last year we greated all the freshman on the first day of classes at 8 am. We were still drunk and drinking from the night before and we offered all of them a beer. non took up our offer, said it was to early.
I have friends who get up at 6am ish every morning just to go get high.
I seriously cant wait for sunday. And I will see if I have any games against st. Mikes. If I do, I expect you ot be there drunk.

I could never live in a dorm - i just cant handle all that bs you described. messy roommate, people over that early and shit. fuck that. the cost of a dorm is prolly enough to rent your own room or apartment nearby. i wish i could wake up at 7:30,but i have to get up at 6:30 instead to get ready for work :(

you dont need to keep up with reading. Just skim over the stuff before an exam. Just got here two days ago iN Happy Valley and we're playing Akron at home....in a shitty tropical storm. Not my idea of a great football game. It's weird that Pollock dorms (where I live) has a bunch of freshmen in it. Usually all the freshmen are in East Dorms, but since they're guranteed to have campus living they had to spill them over in other parts. 94,000 applicants and 8,000 freshmen later, this is where we are annoy:

its pretty cool so far. i just chill with people and eat....a lot.

my professors are cool as hell, they joke around and make fun of people a lot.

you can say whatever you want nyck, but the fact of the matter is you're here, on the internet, when you have a family to be with. i would imagine spending time with your 'loving' wife is alot more fulfilling than trying to come up with insults towards a bunch of kids that are typically 10 years younger than you.

Its currently 9:30 pm. My wife is currently feeding the baby then putting her to bed.

I also post in the morning. when shes still sleeping or when I'm at work.

I spent the day having breakfast with my wife, cleaning the house with my wife, repairing the vaccum, taking trash out, playing with my daughter, watch a movie with the wife, making lunch and dinner.
