So with my daughter turning 1 in a week and the toys and just stuff we have our apartment sure got small in a hurry. Well the wife and I decided 2 weeks ago to look for homes and yesterday we put an offer in on one.

well I got the call today and they accepted our offer!

they want to close on or before march 29th which should be do-able. We go tomorrow afternoon to sign the papers and get the ball rolling.

We are super excited to move into a much bigger space.

Its a two story home with a full basement, We had my uncle who is a Housing Inspector look at it and he said it looked great and gave it a 9/10, they have a new roof, electric, water heater, subpump, windows, carpet, paint, woodtrim and kitchen all in 2005.

we asked for them to pay closing costs which they agreed to and we put 0 down, just the cost to process all the mortgage stuff.

130K, she lives in the fucking redneck sticks of Western Pennslyvania. She has absolutely no concept of Location. She thinks every place has the same priced houses. This same house in NY or CA probably goes for 300-400k

Anywho, a tip from me to you. Go and secure your own lil' space in the house. Make a small room in the basement just for you to hide in. Every man needs a place to call his own. I secured the 2 car detached garage and my computer room in the basement.

That house here would probably go for $350 - $400 Canadian because there is a major housing shortage from all the newfies, ontarians, saskatchewanians and everyone else moving here. I long for the days of <200,000 houses. I should be moving out soon, but it's impossible to find a place to afford.

Houses over here are bumping way up in price as well, the average house costs around £120,000 which is nearer $300,000. eek:

its in a town area, markets, stores , restaurants within walking distance, gas stations down the road, however its off on its own little subdivison

looks alright to me...the lack of a driveway would bug me...but at least ya got a backyard...all the new houses going up in brampton are so close together and you get like no front yard and barely a backyard...that totally sucks.
