when you can pay 6 million for a year for 5 years for a 32 year old who averages 45 pts a season that has played full seasons

Ottawa has enough room under the cap for 1 big name player, Murray has alot of work to do and so far I haven't seen shit from, hurry up and lock up Emery and send Gerber back to the minors.

Probably. Blake seems to be a decent scoring player, which is what the leafs need, and if they resign peca + oneil they can make things happen. Peca sets them up, Sundin and Blake put them in the net.

Flyers could actually make some noise this year with all the players they've signed. they'll be a lot better than last year without a doubt and I wouldn't be suprised to see them in the playoffs again especially when you add leadership like Jason Smith, add scoring with Briere and goaltending with Biron.

Haha Kevin Lowe is the asshat of the NHL. I'm sure Buffalo saw it coming but can you say desperate? Edmonton is in a world of hurt now, as I'm sure a lot of GM's will be pissed at what he did. It was a big gamble but Buffalo had more than enough cap space to match the offer.
