What do you consider "good"?
 

This is a question I've had for a while, now I'm going to ask a lot more people....

What do you consider a good record?

Current members in my group have gone 40-10, I consider that excellent and I try to recruit people like that.

However, I for one tend to have an even kill death ration but I get a lot of kills, usually 40 a map, is this good?

i consider a ratio of at least 3:1 good, if you have high kills but 3 times the deaths i don't consider that good at all *COUGH* [OWN]Perfect Sniper *COUGH*

By my standards, -60 is one damn good score

One thing that I truly hate are people that go 4-20 then ask to join my clan, then when I say no, they keep asking.

We've had at least 10 people that aren't even decently skilled, even though I myself usually don't finish much over a 1.0 Kill/Death ratio.

If my ping is below 130, I can usually get a score of like 20-7 or something like that. When I get pings below 100, I can get a score of 30-5 on a rare occasion. I usually try to stay 2:1 on my kill/death ratio.

It really depends on where you play, and who you play with. I think many of the people who complain about aimbots on the AA.com server are those who are used to owning on other servers, but can't compete with most of the players on the AA server. Speaking of which, its been awhile since I have seen any KAOS guys around there. Where is everybody?

exactly....I've walked away from servers with a score of 75/6 and not been happy. Depends on the players your with. If im in the AA.com server ill be happy walking away with 2:1.

I'll post some of my scores on here once i get back to my other computer. I don't have access to my ss now. Anyway, i think a good score is about 3:1. I might go 4:1 some days and others 6:1. Depends on the people and if you are having a "good" day.

you can reach amazing hights on a public server...its so god damn easy, even for a guy like me who hasnt played moh for about 5 months

when i traveled to aa.com... my scores were usually 1:1 ratio... now i can usually keep up to 2:1. since its a custom map server i have some problems since i have no idea of the layout, but if its stalingrad, destroyed village or any other of the standard DM maps i do very well.

10:1 ratio is amazing.. but it all depends on who ur playing.

if 10:1 is amazing i must have really earned my |GODDESS| title

well, say the guy on top of a round has 53/13, but the guy under him has 52/25, they are both good, but i get scores like that, a lot! i consider any 1 who stands out compared to any 1 else good, like any 1 who is ahead 20 kills is good, even if he has 2/1 ratio

I totaly don't care about ratio , the game put the higest player on the top of the list , so i do.

its all about the ratio for me...and i stay away from n00b servers or ons im not familiar with unless i am server hopping. If im on top but my ration sucks then im not thrilled but i wont loose sleep either way. KaoS has been busy with practices and defending our ladder positions. We have a few matches over the next couple o days, but we still play in aa.com....U can tell when one of us is on...cause Von Meyer has left....j/k Von :lol:

I say if you kill even one more than u died you did good.You dint hurt your team,by dieng more than u killed.and in real life you dont come back to kill the guy who killed you ,and lots of people do a spawn rape to bring up the score,i seen u all do to a point .

A good player in my books is one who likes to work as a part of a team. I don't give a rat's ass about ratios, scores, and frags (jeeze I despise that word).

If you play fair, can hit the broadside of a barn, and aren't a total jerk, you're a good MOHAA player, in my opinion.

Now most of you guys know that I don't even check the scores most of the time, but when I do look I'm usually about even in kills and deaths ... I play on the aa.com server 98% of the time, so for me, that's darn good. :D :) :D :lol:

Oldguy always wins in the Senior Tournaments. :wink:

well as far i see , the player above him have play 1 hour or more and have more then 100 lost.

It depends on a lot of different factors,
1). Which weapon I am using
2). Who am I playing against
3). What is my ping, what are the pings of the other players
4). Is it a serious battle or is everyone pissing around
5). Am I really trying or am I pissing around
6) Stock game or realism.

It always kills me when I see someone show a screenshot of them having a 60 to 2 kill death ratio and they are playing against a bunch of noobs with pings over 150 and they are pinging 40.

I play because I enjoy the challenge, sometimes I come out on top and sometimes I suck.
