USING DLOADED, CUSTOM MAPS, DIRECTORY?
 

mad: i want to try playing on custom maps that i dloaded, i think i dloaded them, most seem to be zip files. where you i unzip them into what folders and/or directories????i believe that i (obviously) have to find a game/server with that map then, right? i have like 12 maps i am having problems 2with this, CAN ANYONE HELP? thank you crusader

All the custom maps will be .pk3 files. Unzip the file into a temp directory. Make sure the name of the .pk3 file has User at the beginning (all downloaded mods should have this). Place just the .pk3 file into your

drive:\Program Files\EA Games\MOHAA\main

folder. That's all there is to it.

thanks a lot i played 3 different new maps today, should have come here weeks ago.....what about blood packs? sounds? skins for guns? player skins? and other dloads... there are prolly 1000s, do they all work? can i dload multiple packs or do i only unzip 1 ata time? i certainly appreciated any response....freak:

All the mods you can find will be .pk3 files just like maps. They're all installed the same way as well.

You'll want to be sure not to use two conflicting mods: example - two different BAR skins at one time. The only mod that you can download multiples of is the player skins. They will all show up in your multiplayer options.

To sum it up: pick one blood mod, one skin for each weapon, one compass, one health bar etc...You can change at any time by deleting (or moving) your blood mod (for example) and replacing it with another.
