actually, my first question is how to play online? I used to use gamespy arcade, but that dont work anymore. can someone tell me where I can find a good list with players on it (ping, level, names etc) to play online?

Gamespy is the only place I know that holds the hosts. If you get the update v1.11 all you have to do is go into the join section in the game and click on browse games. I think it says something like that. It is still gamespy though. I don't understand what your saying that gamespy doesn't work. Because it's all up and working just fine and dandy. It has to be something with what you have done.

I need to register on gamespy, (so i have a name) but they want my creditcard!!!

Do yourself a favor and don't use GameSpy. Theres a far better game listing server out there. Its called The All Seeing Eye. It is far superior to GS. For one, theres no spam. There are alot of filters you can use. Its highly customizable. I never use GS now since I found the Eye. You have favorite folders and your can also have the favs at the top of your server list. It supports all the games that GS supports and more. The interface is quite simple, but its very nice to use. Some of the other features it has are, showing the exact number public slots in a server, unlike GS. So instead of wasting your time trying to join a server which supposedly has 10 free slots only to find out they are reserved, you get to see exactly what is available for you. And when you click on the server name title bar you actually get the alphabetical listing of the server names. Regardless of the symbols infront of the server name. They are listed by the first letter in the name. Which is another thing GS or the MOHAA server gives you. Ok enough of that, try it out I think you will like it.

You don't have to pay to use gamespy! Just go there and download the gamespy arcade and when your installing it READ what it says. So many companies jip people like you off cause you don't read the fine print or anything.( No Offense) Uncheck the box that says something like sign me up for a years worth for only $20 or something. Then your goo to go.
