How can I find my IP and port number?
 

How can I find my IP and port number so I can give it out for poeple to join without hunting through loads of server lists?

theres website's on the net you can go to yahoo.com and type in find my ip and websites will come up you can click on and when it connects it will show you youre ip biggrin:

Cable or dialup? dialup will change your ip addy everytime you log on. and for the port number unless you change it in your config file it should be 12203. that is the default port number.

12203 is the default port number, However you can chanage it, but the default is that.

Uh.. man i always forget this command, But it is like ipconfig just goto start>run> and type that in, or something like that, on a Windows machiene, however it is differn't for XP and 2000 i believe. ah hell I am sure someone should be around to give you a good answer in a minute.

run the following command in prompt

ipconfig

if not works, try

winipcfg

u will see your IP
