Ducking/MG42
 

If there was already a post on this and I missed it, sorry. I'm a bit tired and probably skimmed right past it. That and I only looked 3 pages deep. I'd never heard of/seen it until two days ago. People on MG42s, ducking with grenade in-hand. Any server side patches/fixes for this?

Why? Its the best thing that has happened to the Omaha Beach map. Gets those fucking snipers up to accually accomplish their mission.

lol, well i havent heard of this, been working on some hacks/thinking of a skinpack to release here.... but this is funny, im guessing its a spearhead issue?

you're saying that the Americans should charge like idiots and all get shot?
if there is no way to return fire it should be considered cheating.

Isn't that what they did in real life? No sniper would survive more than 5 seconds on the beach or inside a Higgins.

And no LLC doesn't support cheating.

akuma man, most of them don't care if there are targets or not. i've played entire rounds where the axis decided to sit back and wait for the snipers to grow impatient and make a run for the guns. never happened hake:

you see running liek an idiot is what you do when a strategy fails.
plus in real life the krauts couldn't crouch under the bunker and still see, or jump down a 100 ft. cliff and live to fight.

Are we talking about the thing where you can't get sniped on the MG? If so thats the best thing ever! I'm tired of getting on it only to get sniped by 5 people! BAH! It's awesome, adds more realisitc affect.

Can't get sniped while on the MG42? Wow, is this in Spearhead (don't have it yet) or is it a mod? Sounds really cool, like it'll restore the authenticity of at least Omaha.

Well it's better gameplay. It's so lame how everyone sits in the higgins boats and snipes!

I figured there would be some idiots. I didn't think it would be the majority. Perhaps I should elaborate.

When someone ducks, on the MG42, this is a glitch. They are holding a grenade in their hand. Secondly, they can see through the concrete wall. You want realism? Find a time machine and drop your own ass back on D-Day. This is a game, and in games the rules are different. Glitching is breaking those rules. As for my server, any violators will be kicked. If you want to cheat, go join the other site I won't name.

my clan (LRRP) just sneaks up and TKs with a pistol round to the head if anyone does this glitch on our server. quite funny to have them whine afterwards. biggrin:

i feel sorry for people that actually run omaha

oversniping, bad spawn points, spawn raping and now mg42 crouching
