This gun looks like a child make it and put it together. how did it perform in the field

The sten was good because it was cheap. They you could make a sten in anybody's garage.

i have no clue how in real life u could bash with it though... wouldnt the clip get in the way?

When you're bashing somebody, nothing gets in the way, it simply becomes another fragment of the bashing apparatus, and another way to implement pain!

yeah that and the mp40.... with both youd be hittin ppl with like a tiny thin little buttplate. with the size of em you would also be making contact while the barrel was pointed at you so not the greatest idea in reality.
