Flat Screen Monitors
I was wondering if someone could help me...I am tired of my piece o junk monitor Dell E770S http://support.ap.dell.com/docs/monitor ... /intro.htm
Anyone have flat screens that are larger than 17 inches, and if so could you tell me how they compare to the normal dinosaur models? |
I'm not looking to spend a whole lot either.....

WalMart...get a KDS 19" Flat SCreen Monitor for about $220. Its a trinitron flat screen by SONY. Warrenty lasts 3 years. I had a problem with a monitor from them once, and they sent a replacement . Took 2 days. Sent the defective one back, on them.

Well, my friend has one, and I don't like it too much. Unless you will just look at it from the direct front-center of it, it will be fine, but straying off to the side there is a glare. Though that is just on his monitor. I'll stick with my big old beast of a monitor.

I thought that flat screens only save room and give you privacy (as they say)

I was told to get a lower monitor dot pitch, is this true? right now my monitor has one of a value of .28 which is pretty high
|
yeah
The smaller the dot, the more you can fit on the screen, resulting in better pics. There are alot of Flat Panel LCD Monitors with over a .30. I believe the Trinitron flat screens are around .23 or so.
