well there really isn't a "recommended" setting,but if you have to go lower than 800X600,you might want to upgrade...I run a little higher than 800x600 and the game looks great.

I run it at 1280x1024 with everything maxed out. Runs 80s and 90s fps most of the time. I would probably go down to 1024x768 and keep all my maxed settings if I needed to. I would then start tweaking the settings if I had to take it down less then that.

Whats the recomended resolution for this game anyhow?

I would say lower if you can use anti aliasing and turn everything to high.
