Take my hazey days away
I heard that it's possible to get rid of the "haze" in the game somehow. Does anyone have any idea how to do this? Bear in mind that I am a complete neophyte to game modification. Please make it simple.

sure, fog
yeah, fog, or the basic haze that keeps you from viewing items too far in the distance. A perfect example would be that you can't see from one end of the town to the other on The Bridge objective map.

well what I found to help was put all settings on high...but there have been many arguments over this. I don't think anyone knows the answer yet

ok, I'll try that, but I heard a comment about someone altering the code to take it away.

Removing the fog by any means other than your hardware doesn't support it is considered cheating by many. Expect to be kicked and/or banned from a lot of servers if you try to play with no fog and are caught. Just an FYI...
