HELP! plz... cant save...
 

HELP! For some reason when I goto save a pic from the internet, even if it is a jpg or gif it default a bitmap and wont allow me to choose gif or jpg. Really sucks because I cant save pics as jpg and gif. Damn!

If anyone can give me some suggestions or help on how this maybe fixed let me know, thx!

save it as what it only allows u to save it as.. then open it , then save it what ever u want it as

i get that on certain porn sites, it's horrible. don't know how to fix it

Ya anyways, under the name you sould be able to pic the type you want, or is that the problem. You cant pic any other type.

nah bro im not a computer noob lol, but yea thats the problem I cant save as type I want and it wont save the pic as is it automatically makes it bitmap

Get Paint Shop Pro (http://www.jasc.com) and convert them.

I have PS7 but that is kinda a pain in the u know what to have to convert every photo just so it doesnt take up as much space

i have the same problem as well when files auto-download and the zip comes up its blank.

And no i will not conver damn files, takes to long, just download into a folder using DAP.

Thing is, it wasnt like this before with me. My color res is messed up as well so im guessing it has something to do with my video card? Well im so glad im getting a new one this week. If thats not it ill just reformat. Hope u have luck with yours! eek:

res is deffinatly a vid card prob, dont re-format yet.
if your on xp do a rollback and uninstall all video drivers then go download the newest ones.
