Any famous family members?

My aunt has been researching my family (on my fathers side) and found some interesting stuff over the years. I am a sixth great nephew of General William T. Sherman and his younger brother John who was a senator (Republican of course) and Secretary of the Treasury under President Hayes and ran for the nomination of the republican party for president but lost to Former General Grant. He also served one year as Secretary of State under President McKinley but died due to failing health.

Anyone else have some famous relatives?

All I know is that on my dads side, my great great etc. grandfather came to canada from France in 1640 something. So i'm like 10th generation Canadian on that side. he was the first "Trudel" to come to North America. So if you ever meet another Trudel, you will know that my Great great etc. grandfather was the first trudel on the continent. And therefore I own j00 all.

Then on my moms side I have American in me cause my grandmothers parents were from North Dakoda or some place like that. I also have Irish, Scottish, Italian and Swiss on that side as well.

And thats all I know. There were probably some cool people along the way, but I don't really know. I think someone coming to Canada in the 1600's is pretty cool though. Just vast wilderness. Basically some of the first people to come here.

No one really famous in my heritage. My Grandpa was part of the orignal 101st Airborne which is cool. But my freind Steve's grandpa has had the most electro shock through him. When they lived in the country, he was installing a satelite dish on top of a barn and got struck with lighting. He lost 1 arm or some shit. He never accepted Ginesess award cause he was embarssed, but he still holds the record!
