NO!!!!! y wont my weapon skins work?
 

cry: my custom colt doesnt work!!! y? 4 that matter no weapon skins, even the ones i dl from known downloaders (brutal, leon) dont work, but the skins i dl work fine, is something different?

Try turning texture compression off.

i found texture compression but it still doesnt work!

Add "zzz" in the name of pk3(in the start). Works for me sometimes.

i am really pissed (not at u in the least, just in general im pissed) it didnt work either... thanx 4 trying, tell me if u have any other ideas, plz!

you'll find if you had the german assult mod in your game then none of your wepon skins will work

hmm is that a default skin?
 

cause i dont think ive dled anything by that name, but ill check

Take these steps...
 

1. Make sure texture compression is NOT checked.
2. Skins look better with TEXTURES set on high...if your vid card can handle it.
3. If you have another skin or a skin pack in, that may be the problem. Take that stuff out. 9 times out of 10 it will have 'user-' in front of it.
4. Did you install the ZIP file or the PK3? Or even worse... went into the pk3 and extracted the tga.
5. Done all that? Try to rename the file from 'user-BrutalGlock.pk3' to 'user-zBrutalGlock.pk3' That will load close to last, just incase u cant seem to find the other skin u may have.

i never had user- before mod name, that must be it! unfortunatly, the colt still has the hammer... oh well atleast its completly silver like its supposed to be (i changed the wood to chrome) hey, it may suck but its my very first, i also wrote =RBG= on every magazine hehe so i get to c our butiful clan tag every time i reload

i didnt know u had to enter "user-" before the mod name, hmm my mod still has the hammer which i thought i deleted but oh well, it is all chrome like its supposed to be.
