Omaha Map Fix *Updated*
Finally got this puppy workin'. This fix patches a new bug found by a fellow cheater, whose conversation i was spying on. evil:
This is a modified version of DogMeat's fix for this map. The new bug is at the back of the map, near the axis spawn. Check the screenies and grab the download. I have submitted this to the site, but figured you all would want it sooner. Lemme know if there are any bugs with this fix. Is it a big deal to edit the stock maps like you've just done by adding the vehicles?

Rocket, what you just said makes no sense. This isn't a submission for a modded map to play. This is a map fix, hence i added the 2 tanks to block an area that people use to go under the map. eek:

So by map fix, you're saying that the actual map hasn't changed, but that when the person launches this map the tanks are added on the fly somehow?

No, it's a server side mod that only works for running a server, it wouldn't just appear there if you came on.

You will only need this file if you are running Omaha on your own server.
If you are joining a server that is hosting this, then the tanks will automatically be there when the map starts. and no, no other things about the map have been changed. |
