Probably the same with the models. If it's online play, you'll need a fast connection and a good PC. PS: That game looks excellent. |
Good.
About time they start using the potential of the hardware that is currently being released. |
doom3's probably gonna need a 2 ghz comp to play also

ROFL Butcher...
I'm building a new system this coming March and it looks like I'm getting at least a 2.2 P4, or a mobo that supports up to 3.0 so I can upgrade later. |
Anybody knows the "Real" pc specs for C&C Generals?
|
i lost my respect for C&C after that shit red aleart 2 they churned out, fucking POS that game was. But this does look semi decent
|
Nothing like Red Alert, the original. I also had the expansion with the teleporting tanks and electric shooting guys. I would make my maps all to my advantage and make huge ass bases. Some with real skiny land so i could bomb the hell out of everyone with my destroyers biggrin: I had a perimeter of machinegun nest then cannons and artillary backing theme up with anti aircraft all over with mechanics everywhere. And If you played long enough or used the teleporting technology a rip in space would occur. Did that ever happened to any of you? It was like a silver cloud that would shoot out electric bolts and couldnt be stoped. It would destroy anything that it came in contact with. That bitch would pis me off.

Dont you want the games to be cooler? I cant turn everything up on UT2003 and I have a pretty decent system (xp2200, 512 ddr3200, ti4200) all OC'd. The graphics are incredible already, and will be even better on my next system. I think that is cool. I had to run MOH on low settings at first until I was able to upgrade. Then again, thats not a fair comparison, MOH and especially SH, use as many system resources as UT2003, but much less efficiently.
|
Well im an mp tester for generals and imo its pretty crap. Online is laggy as usual with westwood games, you tell your unit to move and like 3 seconds later it moves. Graphics are ok tehrs nothing thats really gonna blow you away. Oh and did i mention so far theres no walls to protect your base and a chinese overlord tank can rape multiple other tanks. I took 12 crusaders against 4 of these and got whooped.

Well, gamers demand more realistic graphics, better sound, more immersive play. That takes POWER!!! I'm building my new system in preparation for Star Wars Galaxies and Splinter Cell. Athlon XP. Pentium IV's are too damned expensive.
