"Opa!" - (Greek) Exclamatory called out when people are enjoying a performer, dancers or singers, men or women. Loosely translated it means, "You go!"

If you've ever been to a Greek Festival, there's alot of this shouting. Basically what Zoner said, it's just a chant that is for mostly dancing or celebration.

If your greek and have been to greek partys, you will find it halarious, more humurous than some ppl, like myself am part greek so, it was funny biggrin:
