would anybody think it is a good idea to buy a air rifle? i am thinking of buying one but i dont think my mum will allow me! anybody got any ideas that could make my mum change her mind?

i dont think youre going to have much luck getting an airgun if you think your mum wont like it.
That means you need your parents permission for most things. unless of course youre a 43 year old virgin who still lives with his parents but i highly doubt that.

Unless of course you mean airsoft guns......

but i think you need permission if youre a certain age.

If you want to convice her airsoft is cool, you would need to show her the clubs they have, its good social fun and builds up your team working skills, as well as being good excercise (unless youre a camping sniper bastard)
and most of all, it keeps you youngsters off the streets where youd be up to no good biggrin:

ohh........VERY stricts laws about carrying airsoft guns in public. you are likely to be shot/arrested/fined. - seriously
