Ok so youre fucking pissed cause a bunch of inbreds who aren't able to install custom maps didn't give yours a go. This aint HALF LIFE man where there are a ton of MOH sites with map packs ready to go...or hell even ready to download when u join a server.

But that dont mean your talent needs to go to waste.

Cause lemme tell ya courtyard battle was a kick ass fucking map - well designed, and I was still discovering shit after having played the fucking thing after a couple of weeks.

Bottom line - get fucking to WORK!

Seriously... I lurk at work hehe, otherwise I don't spend much time on these boards.

I'm slowly losing interest in MoH again. SH lasted all of 2 days for me before I got fed up with it and stock is very rarely fun for me anymore.

Until Freelancer comes out I will probably need something to keep me occupied.

If I get in tonight and I can't find anything to do then I'll start a new map and see how far it takes me.

Only problem I have is what to map. What does the world want?

Ideas on a postcard and I'll consider it.

Spearheads actually pretty intense if you can get a 2.15 server running sv_pure with the run speed set to default. I like it a lot because riflemen are more dominant as it should be, ever since crowkings "machinegun whore mod" its really put me off moh a lot. SH is good as long as the servers not running with the retarded 30mph running speed.

I tried it, honestly, I did. But too many maps are unplayable for me (and I'm not paying more money to upgrade my machine again) the but-scoot thing really gets on your tits fast and there isn't enough servers on ASE to keep me occupied.

The runspeed isn't really something that bothers me (although I think I witnessed this machine whore mod - the auto weapons have 80 rounds per clip and are ultra powerful, right? The worst mod I ever played - the rifles haven't been touched - pants) so it's just the maps really.

Take out the scooting and the laggy maps and mods and I'll play it gladly. There just isn't enough options out there.

The mod im referring to goes by yhe name of ckr which is mainly for allied assault. Basically this guy labelled it a "realism mod", in reality all it did was make the B.A.R and the stg-44 super accurate and powerful over range, you can actuallly use them as sniper rifles on most maps. While at the same time he crippled the shotgun and the sniper rifles by giving them slow as hell reload speeds.

It was the first "realism" mod for moh so everyone took it as the word of god and swore by it even though 99% of people in servers running it were no talent mg whores which was made ven easier by the fact that the mg's were now the ultimate weapon in the game because of him tooling around with them. I played it a few times and as soon as i seen what he had done it put me off it right away, last i checked in ww2 there weren't too many stg's and B.A.R infantry that could pick you off with a single round at around 2000 yards. oOo:

Oh, I know all about CKR.

I find that quite fun for the Garand, actually. It's fun to a degree but not as fun as stock. CKR gets boring quite quickly, as well. I don't find much of a challenge in camping and getting kills with one shot, I love teaching myself to learn to kill in as few shots as possible in stock simply by aiming at vital areas.

It wasn't the first realism mod, by the way, CPR was biggrin: Ahh the demo days, the fun of it all.

I think CKR has actually done alot to ruin the MOH experience, since there really is no point in using any other weapon other than the MGS. Not even the GARAND with their one shot in the leg, body go down kills.

But the point is NOCTIS...your community NEEDS you. Did you even submit Courtyard into EA's contest?
