Is this a dedicated or non-dedicated server?

the server is a dedicated server

Post your server.CFG file here. Just make sure to change the passwords if there are any when you post it.

your cfg looks fine.
Are you behind a router? and is this a hosted dedicated server or a dedicated server being run from your home. |
i am using a router... with a firewall. the dedicated server is in my home. i have put the server outside of the firewall in the DMZ.
i would say this is just a firewall/router issue... but what confuses me is that i can connect to it on the LAN, but not threw the net.... however, i checked CI this morning and there have been people playing on it threw the net. i have been trying to catch someone on it to ask how they found the server, but there haven't been any players since about 5am this morning. what a debacle. if you want to try to see it it's at 65.25.10.142 -=<*BBY*>=-Tinyserve is the name of the server i have tried threw game spy and MOHAA, but not threw ASE yet. Thanks for helping me with this, i appriciate it oOo: |
How many nics do you have?
Also are you running Winxp? if so make sure the built in firewall is disabled. I just tried to ping your IP, I got 50% packet loss, on Road runners system. Is your ISP RR? If so that could be a problem as well. |
