I might as well just give up trying...
 

Well, a very interesting situation has popped up between me, my ex, and her friend Dean. Her other friend, Jenny, told me that dean had been calling her all the time, saying she's hot, and asking her to come meet him. Well, I passed on this info to my ex. Now it seems Jenny was exagerating a little (well, actully, a lot!), but she's not the one taking the flak for this, I am! Dean hates me, more than he did before, and my ex is extremely mad at me. I had decided that I probably over reacted when it comes to dean, after all, he obviously severly controlled her drinking, she only got drunk one night out of the almost 2 weeks she stayed with him. And if I know her at all, she sure as hell tried to get drunk almost every night, he probably had to tie her to a chair to stop her, heh. And I doubt he had anything to do with her going back on drugs, he probably had no clue and still doesn't. I wouldn't of found out myself if I hadn't have noticed she seemed high one time I was over at her place. I had to talk her into a corner to get her to admit it and tell me what she was on. I was gonna try to talk him into us giving each other another chance, but now, thanks to the position her friend Jenny put me in, that's probably not gonna be happening. I don't understand it, all I did was pass a message from Jenny onto my ex, and now everyone hates me. I told her exactly what Jenny said, yet I'm the bad guy, not Jenny. She made the incorrect accusations, now I'm paying the price. I don't know what to do. This is getting to be too much. Everytime something happens, I end up stuck between a rock and a hard place, and come out looking like the bad guy, when I know I'm not. Think I might just give up, and let whatever happens, with her life, with the situation with dean, and with my and her friendship happen. hake:

i think that u should talk to them and explain everthing and tell them u didtn do anything biggrin:

I tired that, I talked to them both on the phone, and sent him an email. On the phone, it was mainly one sided, with him yelling "what gives you the right to come around and say this stuff about me when you don't know me at all" and "get the facts straight before you go around making accusations". He never replied to my email, he probably just deleted it without reading it. hake:

The lesson you learned is never trust anybody, especially words out of a girl's mouth. These kinds of situations suck man. Last year my ex was going around school saying I beat her...wtf. At one point she had a lot of girls believing her, and man it sucked big time. Girls that I had always made laugh and befriended before shunned me. This all started right after I broke up with her. She started getting on some drugs and stuff like that, and eventually the girls realized it and apologized to me. See I didn't interfere with the situation, because while it did bother me that these girls (who a lot were fine) hated me for a while, deep down I really didn't give a crap. So turns out I am back to normal with these girls again.

Gee, I guess that's what happens when you accuse and spread information about a guy keeping
a girl drunk and stoned on hard drugs, and virtualy being a pimp....when in fact the opposite appears to be true.

if she wants to be a junky let her. i dont see why people always bugger in to situations which don't concern them. this is how wars always start

That's the thing, this situation does concern me. I'm stuck in the middle of the situation, and that's the problem. My ex warned me not to go near dean, she said that he said if he ever saw me, "there would be trouble".

I didn't do that, that's the thing.

All I did was pass on a message to my ex from her friend Jenny, who claimed that dean was harrasing her, when it has now become apperent that those "harrasing" phone calls actully consited of him talking to Jenny for a couple of minutes twice when my ex called her from his house. hake:

Heh, yeah, he's 23, i'm 18, and he's twice my size, deffenitly not interested in conronting him.

Man that really gotta suck. So have you tried apologizing to that Dean guy?

he doesn't need to apologize, dean needs to (insert cliche here)
