IL-2 Sturmovik question(and possibly clan)?
 

I just bought Forgotton Battles a few days ago and when i try to play the campaigns they lag so much. I have a good computer though so i dont understand why it does this. My settings arent even turned all the way up?

On another note, anyone interested in forming an aa.com clan? Let me know so we can get one started.

maybe u should try updating ure video card drivers and your sound card drivers. If that doesnt work then i cant help ya much more sry mwah:

IL-2 is another game i wish i could buy but cant because it would be a waste since my computer is so weak. I have a question though, for anyone who has played Air Warrior III and IL-2, which game is better?

check some of the settings on my comp FB lags alot with land detail on high or excellent, but with everything else on max its fine. just mess with the video settings until you find a good setting. If that doesn't work then update your drivers and/or defrag

IL-2 plays somewhat well on low end systems if you have everything set correctly, as long as you meet the recommended requirments you should be fine

i have played many flight sims...cfs 1 2 and 3 il2 forgotten battles and il2 are by far the best flight sims out there. nothing holds a candle to il2

I've been playing the demo for the past 4 months and I'm pretty good at making ground strikes on the trains and cars, and at intercepting Li-2 planes. Who ever thought that my Wingman that I bought at a garage sale 4 or so years ago for $10 would still be kicking. I want to buy FB, but only after I get Blitzkrieg and ETM.

Yeah, I found the demo disc that had it on it to give it another try (ran SOOOO sluggish on my old TNT2) and I love it. I've mastered the BF109G.

i got 2.4 intel p4
512mb ddr ram
geforce2mx400 32mb ram

and il-sturmovik runs like crap.
when i had a 750mhz comp it ran way better

what's going on. the smoke really slows everyhting down too.

i have all new drivers and the only think i can think of is maybe directx9 is messing up my non directx9 compatible card

yeah man you have plenty of ram if you out a gf4 you'd haev no prob

I have a 1.5 Ghz

78-something RAM (512+256)
and a 64MB GF3

runs fine.


I like the idea of an AA.com clan, I'm willing to join.

Yeah, it ran like ass on my Gf2 also, the smoke killed it, but mine was 64mb.

To all of you guys who have FB, use Hyperlobby to get into games. That UBI crap sucks hard.
