Sounds pretty sweet, man. From what I've read, what it does is it works like a server. You show it what Movies / Music you want to store on it on your home PC, then you can access them anywhere from the web with a high-speed connection. So your friends can listen to your music on your PC from their house, or even movies. Check it out, sounds intresting.

Divx is a waste of time when your dealing with Kazaa you need some type of special hardware to play DIVX related files.

Umm. . .no? You mean the DivX codec? This is simply MADE by the DivC corp. it has nothing to do with the codec.

i wondered what that thing was when i installed divx5 ... sounds pretty neet.

Hmm, I have The Thin Red Line on DVD, we got it at the thrift store about a year ago, but I could never play it, because it needs a DIVX DVD player, and I just thought I'd ask what the hell that is because I'd like to watch it.

I can also see a lot of viruses coming through that thing..

Divx is a video codec. It can be used through WMP (Windows Media Player) to open files in Divx-coded format, such as .MPG's and .AVI's. The difference is quality. Divx is close-to DVD quality.

Of course I know what that is, I've had it for a long time, I'd just like to know why I have a DIVX DVD, that requires a DIVX DVD player. It's really weird, and it's a real DVD. Oh well...
