ok i have c-s so i could download it for free and when i installed it this showed up when i clicked on the icon [img]http://www.dodstudios.net/uploads/uploads/help%20copy.jpg[/img]

You have a no CD patch it seems like...but HL doesn't need to CD except for instalation. I think you warezed HL and the new patch detects that.
