What does ur workout consist of?
I was wondering because i really want to build my chest and abs but i dont know what workouts to do. My workout now consist of 50 twist situps followed by 20 side situps(lay on side and sit up), two leg lifts for about 30 seconds, two sets of 30 push ups, and then free weights. Im looking to build my chest and abs but i have to do it without machines or weight or anything. What areas do pushups effect?

Ok what are you trying to work out, the muscular strength or muscular mass? If you're trying to workout the strength its best you do so that the resistance of your workout will make you only do 9-11 reps. If you are trying to build mass do less reps like 5-6 reps but with increased weight and resistance. Right now it seems you're improving endurance. Its also better if you join a local gym or something or is there one in your local highschool? The one I go only cost like 40 bucks a month. I dont want huge ass muscles but i want a girl to notice me if im walking down the street. I want defined muscles. |
