Half-Life 2 Delayed
[quote="Doug Lombardi of Valve":4aeb4]The previously announced September 30th release date for Half-Life 2 is being pushed back. We are currently targeting a holiday release, but do not have a specific "in-store" date to share at this time. We will release that information as soon as we have confirmed a new date.[/quote:4aeb4]

*insert post about how you'd prefer they took their time
and made sure the final product was bug free etc. here* |
I'm not surprised, but my main issue isnt that it was pushed back, but with values repeated insistence that they were on schedule all the way up until a week before the schduled date.

Yes, the with holding of the information for such a long time is what will likly make most people angry. I wasnt to upset when Doom3 was delayed, it was a ways off and i wasnt to hyped up about it yet. This however was damn close, and most people were ready to beat the crap out of other gamers to get there hands on it opening day. Now we get 3 sentances that say "fuck you, wait more", and were expected to be like "ok". I think not. I will have to sufice watching the many video' s i have of it until then. Which makes me cry.

I hate that it's being pushed back, but it will still own when it does come out. Just gives me more time to upgrade.
