BCS
Is the BCS a peice of crap or what? Tell me your thoughts.
imo, we need 1 winner not like 50 or so
1 bowl 1 winner
Yup i really do hate it since its in College football, i mean there is so many damn bowl games some i havent even heard of. Just so that schools can say O O I WENT TO THIS, THIS YEAR!
i think the bcs is fine the way it is. it gives smaller teams a chance to be recognized and is better for recruiting
Its OK. It plays 1 v 2 every year, but its really all about money, so dont expect it to change anytime soon.

It is really all about the money. Why do you think Notre Dame is a independent in football? So they can pick what teams they can play, what division they will get the most tv coverage on, and thats why there schedule is the hardest, and every game i think of there's has been televised some how so they can money off of it.
what's BCS?
Its the ranking system for bowl games for college football.

difficult schedule. Yes it is about money. They have an exclusive contract with NBC worth millions every year. All their games are televised and they don't have to share the TV revenues with other conference members. They get it all. Plus they have an exclusive loop hole with the BCS. If they win X amount of games they are garunteed an at-large bid to a major bowl. They have the best racket going. |
That is true its a tradition but some things just get out of hand with money i mean seriously. Already getting a bowl bid i think that is wrong yea wow they are known so is alot of other colleges but they dont get a automatic bid but o well u cant fight it.
notre dame wouldn't join a conference
Of course they wouldnt with the cash flow they get lol kinda odd though they are only independent in football. in the bigeast for every other sport though lol
