so. cal fires
 

as most of you know there are fires burning out of controll in Southern California. I happen to be right in the middle of it all.


this morning at 1:20 a.m. my doorbell wrang, it was the police and fire department saying there is a manditory evacuation and we must gather are valueables and such. the "Grand Prix" fire has jumped over interstate 15 and is heading tward my house as i speak. everybody in my whole neighborhood is out in their front yard hoping for the best. we can see the smoke ahead. the fire is about 6 miles from my house. all this morning my family took turns watching the fire. the fire department says that their is a danger of ashes and enders blowing from rooftop to rooftop and it happens that i am downwind from the fire. outside there are people gathering their pets, the ash is blowing down like a blizzard and our city is completely encircled by smoke. it feels like i am a million miles away from the world and just by typing this its making me feel better.

to make things worse the fire bombers are grounded because of the smoke and very high winds (30-50mph). and we dont have enough fire fighters to help out on all fronts...

unreal.

im in laguna niguel and yesterday it was yellowish/orange outside

did you hear phillip daniel went missing on friday night and I think the cops are still looking for him. Last known whereabouts was he was skateboarding and my friend Adam spotted him.

But I guess I should expect you to know this.

But anyways, that sucks and hope you people pull through.

heh i would too. but the police has blocked off the roads leading to the fire.

and now seeing how the fires where started by an arsonist the police would probably shoot anybody holding a lighter on the spot.


its completely orange outside and the sun is blood red. things are looking better, still alot of smoke and they seem to have the part by our housing track under controll. gtg get the 2 pounds of ash off my car...

good news the evacuation has been lifted! they got the fire under controll.
im lost for words...

Hunter, I would of gave a big "fuck you!" to those firefighters and said Im staying here at my house. I would dig a big trench around my house and fill it with water... then I would get a lawn chair and sit on my roof with a waterhose... rock:

thats exactly what i did from 2:00am to 6:--a.m. i sat on my roof in a lawnchair armed with a waterhose, a bb gun (looters) and a 6 pack


as far as saying "f*ck you" to the firefighters i see no reason to. those guys are really busting their asses. i respect firefighters but there is only so much they can do.
