If it's legal to own a .50-Cal sniper rifle? I know, I'm in the military, but I've never gotten into owning weapons. I want one for my 25th birthday.

In NYC, dunno. But other places in the world call that a big game rifle, barring the obvious things like full auto and large capacity clips.

Hey Joe, I did a quick check on >50 on the NRA site - I didn't find anything but I'm sure they have it there somewhere. I did find an article about how Diane Feinstein has authored a bill to ban them AND to confiscate all the current ones, even if they are legally owned. Apparently, the way here bill is written, this would include Civil War era antiques. rolleyes: Here is some contact info for some gys you can call to answer your question:
