LONDON - Prince Edward and his wife Sophie have named their baby daughter Louise Alice Elizabeth Mary Mountbatten-Windsor.

Buckingham Palace announced the name of Queen Elizabeth's seventh grandchild Wednesday.

She will be known as Lady Louise, said a palace spokesperson.

Louise is one of the middle names of Edward's sister, Princess Anne. It was also the name of one of Queen Victoria's daughters.

Alice was the name of Prince Philip's mother. Elizabeth was selected in memory of the Queen Mother, Edward's maternal grandmother. Mary is the name of Sophie's mother.

The infant was born prematurely on Nov.8. Edward and Sophie, the Earl and Countess of Wessex, took her home on Sunday.

Shame she wasn't born in the 80s utherwise I could be Sir Bunn3h! cool:
