Getting on top of buildings
 

I was playing in an online game and this guy was sniping me wherever I went... Finally I managed to find out that he got on top of buildings and sniped me from there. Of course he wouldn't tell me how to do it... So does anyone have any idea how I could get on top of buildings and rooftops and stuff?

which building which map

The map is croassroads and the building is the one on th right after the bridge if you're facing the direction of the wrecked car and the church,,, Thanks

As far as I know the only building's roof you can get on, in Crossroads, is the church. Outside the upper most window is a ledge. Use it to get on the roof.

On Roofs
 

In MOHAA the server admin can turn off gravity (sv_gravity 201 is great with normal 800 ) from the console. You then jump out a high window and FLOAT to a distant point on a roof of a building or a ledge where you can make contact and sort of stick. Then turn gravity off immediately and take out players without fear.

Not the best admin/host but it is done very often.

Ah, first thing that hits me is the good ol' days when everyone was teleporting..
tele 1000 100 800 or something, if my memory doesnt fail me completely.. biggrin:

tele was so much fun. So many noobs had no clue where you where and you could clear house without even moving once.
