Who are US and allies fighting in Iraq?
In my opinion the Iraq conflict has moved from fighting saddam and his military in the beginning
to now fighting largely international, highly organised groups of fundamentalists who are best described as al-queda....what a suprise! I don't see this as a totally seperate conflict at all, I see it as being related to the wider war on terror, regardless of the premise for the invasion. But that's just my opinion...what do you think?* *Oh, and if you don't agree with me...stay the fuck out of my thread. |
e) a little of each
|
I think only when the occupation is over will people shut the fuck up.
We are fighting anyone that will fight our goal to liberate iraq and give them the chance to choose their own fate. |

hahaah. I think its a bit of everything. Al Queda is going to use this as an excuse to launch another holy crusade or some bullshit to try and get recruits and make it to appear that they are trying to liberate Iraq from the horrible Americans. It is also widely known that foreign fighters are coming in on foot, camels and tricycles to get in on the action. I bet the Iraqi people just want all this shit to end, and since the coalition is the only one who actually has the safety and well being of those people in mind, we should stay there until we kick the fuckers out of there. |
Although the majority of the current resistance is from al-queda and other islamic jihadist, the sunni muslims in iraq who consequently were all baa-thist are also resisting the ocupation because they opressed the shi-ite and kurds for so long their afraid of what will happen to them now that they are out of power.
