Well, they might not be way above Oklahoma, or LSU for that matter, but they are number 1 (in BOTH polls), which brings up the question as to why the hell they aren't playing in the BCS NC.

This does mean that this years NC will definately be split between USC and the winner of the Sugar Bowl, which is exactly what the BCS was designed to prevent.

The BCS needs some type of change. First Miami got screwed in 2000 and then Oregon in 2001, and now the number one team in both the AP/Coaches polls..
