Go to start/run and type in DXDIAG. or go to your device manager to see what kind you have, or you can LOOK at your card to see what youre packing. If you have an audigy, it sux to be you. oOo:

Why is that mine works perfect, Great suround sound to. So wtf

Madmartagen 01-07-2004 02:09 PM

Because its a piece of shit. The onboard firewire didn't react well to my USB when I first installed the drivers, so my system would crash every time during startup. It took me a while to figure out what it was, and so i had to disable USB before I installed everything else. Creative Labs wasnt helpful either, they wouldnt even admit that there was a problem when installing drivers. I got it to work after a while, but since I am always doing projects on my pc, i got tired of it. I have a Santa Cruz, and it works fine.

My fire wire works great never a problem. But my comp is up to date and works great. I think soundbalster is great.
