CD-RW
How many times on average can you rewrite a CD?.
|
Good question, my Memorex CD-RW box doesn't say.
**EDIT** Just ripped this of some forum: How many times rewrite a CD-RW? ridergroov posted 2003 Aug 11 15:54 Just wondering, i'm just starting to get into using CD-RWs again....the first time i did it i counted on one and it totally screwed everything up that i had on the disk beforehand so i never used them again....anyway....how many times can you erase and rewrite on CD-RWs and DVD-RWs? defense posted 2003 Aug 11 16:01 I believe the specs say about 1,000 times so you should be fine. Although, every now and then...some people say they can't erase them or re-write them after a short period of time. But that's a rarety. I have some cdrw's which i've re-writeen several hundreds of times and never had any issues. JeDiBoY posted 2003 Aug 11 16:15 ive erased and re-written to plenty of CD-RW's a countless amount of times, and it only stopped erasing/writing when they got scratched (for me, that is) |
probably till the laser wears the disk down to the label oOo:
