Problem with laptop cdrw/dvd
 
When I put a dvd/or any other software,the drive doesn't read it /auto play,I tried going into properties made a few changes,but it didn't work.Can I get some help.

maybe you accidently deleted your drivers?

I did delete,but I installed back again.

do ANY cd's work? like audio cds? did you drop your laptop? or bump it? thats what happened to my laptop, i tripped on the cable when i was in a rush and i permanently screwed my dvd drive, messed up the laser lens.
