I believe "Quaoar" was the unofficial name for this object, until it changed to the official "Sedna" on Monday. If I remember correctly this thing was found in early 2002. Edit: Just in case anyone didn't notice, the original BBC article posted by Mountaineer maniac is dated 7 October, 2002. |
