you jack caps of some frames from a certain movie using dvd software that allows you to, then you bring these all toegether in say image ready to make a gif

wanna know the easy way of doing it ? record a segment of the movie with fraps at 5 fps or 10 fps. Open it up in adobe premier and then save it /renderas a gif sequence. A lot easier then compiling screenies.

Cut out the part you want with some video editing program, stick it in ImageReady, optimize, save.
