BitTorrent error, need help
 

im keep getting this BitTorrent error, anyone know how to fix it?

It means the tracker you are downloading from is no longer connected. You can either wait for it to come back online, or in some cases the file will finish anyway.

While this topic is up:

I'm a noob it bittorent stuff. I got the download software thing, so I can get files from the site.

But, I really would like to understand better how it works. I am downloading from someone else who is downloading it? And they are uploading it to several people who are downloading that file. While I'm downloading it, I'm uploading to people who are downloading from me? Is that right? I can never get more than like 10kbs (when it's goin good) for download. I upload like 3 times more than I'm downloading. Downloaded something over night and averaged like kbs.

Am I doing something wrong or somethin?
It's just, it would take like 3 days to download a gig.

dude, i have the same problem.
i can never really get a good download

yesterday i was downloading at about 75kb/s and 35kb/s upload. i guess it depends on the file your getting

Depends on how much you upload. the more you upload, the faster you download. i average 200 kb/s now.

so you have like a 'record' when using bittorent?

Or is it the more you upload from a single file, the faster you download that single file.

But I was uploading 30kbs over night. And I woke up and I uploaded 3x more than I downloaded. It still wasn't downloading fast.
