PC question (Politically Correctness)
 

when did a stewardess become a "flight technician" ? A "good" friend of mine just announced (among other things) that he was becoming one. Is it wrong to refer to them still as "stewardesses" or will i get some girlie civil rights speech ?

Is your friend gay? And its not "flight technician", at least not in the US, we call em "Flight Attendants".

Stewardess, Flight Attendants, same thing. I dont know who changed it, but stuff like that gets changed all the time. Its also meant to make a persons job sound more important. Data Entry = Data Coordinator. Mechanic = automobile service technician.
