Iv got the detroit news on right now & they just spent 15 min talking about all the shootings & violent crimes that happened in the last 12 hours. My god it took 15min just to get trough that! whats the point of watching news if thats all your going to hear? no wonder everyone down there is scared of all the crime, it was just an endless list of shootings, robberies, muggings, a suicide, & a few fatal car crash's. who sits down & watch's this crap? hake:

I stopped watching the TV about 3 years ago. Though in America their Media is very biased, very negative and full of shiat!

the canadian media is no where near perfect but it hasent fallen to cnn or fox level yet. I find the best news to watch is the BBC world news. rock:

I was in Atlanta a couple of years ago and actually turned off the local morning news before I had a fucking anxiety attack. The shit that happened there overnight was fucked beyond belief. A McDonald's about 5 minutes away from my hotel was robbed by a guy with a sawed-off shottie (shottie whore...).

Crazy shit. Mind you, I don't think the entire country is fucked like that, but sweet jeebus!
