DOOM help needed
 

Need some fuckin' help here !!

I just got back from Best Buy with my purchase and finished installing the game. Now when i attempt to play, i get this error:

[Cannot locate DOOM 3 Disk 1

CD/DVD emulation sortware has been detected.
Please disable all CD/DVD emulation software and restart the game.]

WTF?? I don't even have any DVD shit on this computer, not even a DVD drive. Nothing is running in the background except my Virus software and Firewall. The only thing i can think of as being a possible fix is a "No CD Key" .exe. I would really like to know what is causing this. Shit man, i wanna play !!

dam, i hate when that happens, try re-installing.

Do you have Daemon Tools installed? If yes, make sure it isn't running. It may also give that error if 120% is running, too.

This has been happening to a lot of people.

Found problem. Fuckin' "Clone CD" was interfering....now it's uninstalled. Everything is peachy now. Thanks for the tips but i must say (without any flame intent) re-installing has got to be the worst advise. I never fixed anything on a "re-install".

thats opposite for me, re instaqlling fixes everything for me, i have clone cd and if screws up my games all the time. mad:

ok, another question. Now, before the whole community gets their panties all in a bunch, i wanted to ask about a "No CD .exe". Remember, i just bought the game and i can provide a pic of my cock spread all over the game to prove it!
I just find inserting a CD in the tray a pain in the ass everytime i wanna play...plus it's unnessessary wear on the drive. If this is an "out of bounds" question, just PM me a freakin' link and go on with your life.

i now cant unstall bt or starwars galaxies demo off my moms comp......thats 4 gb that will never go away

Delete the folders with the contents in them and then runa registry cleaner to get rid of all the entries for the games.
