Networking question

I have my new computer all set up, and now i'm looking to setup a wireless lan between my new computer and old computer.

My new computer has the ASUS A8V motherboard which comes with the WiFi-g wireless LAN

I have it installed, but I haven't set up the wireless software because my other computer isn't ready yet.

What I need to know is what network card I need in my other computer to receive the wireless info beaming back and fourth.

All I am looking to do between the two computers is share internet and a printer. Thats all.

The manual doens't really do a good job explaining what you need in the other machine. All it says is: "other computers must have installed IEEE 802.11b/g wireless LAN adapter"

So obviously I need one of those. Can anyone direct me to one that would be compatible? I'd appreciate it.

Thank you.

Get a wireless ethernet card for the other pc... it can be a "g" or "b" card...
Linksys is fine too. Make sure the card is on the same channel and SSID...

Is that the P4P800 Deluxe?

No, it's the A8V Deluxe, for an AMD 64.

I'll go take a look at future shop or some place next week and see what they have there.
