im taking them pretty much just to see what i get, anyone got some tips?

Use a Number 2 Pencil. Idk, theres really know strategy to the SAT. Just do the best you can. Keep in mind that 10 yrs from now, no one is gonna ask you what you got on the SAT.

Prepare by doing practice exercises. If you know your math and have a
broad vocabulary (working, not just word recognition), you should do ok.

SATs are gay.

Seriously though, try not to guess unless you can narrow it down to two choices. You're better off leaving it blank. Also, you're first instinct is usually correct.

Then again, what do I know, its been 13 years since taking mine.

900 is the average SAT score. if you suck score below that if your are cool get above it. I broke 1,000 and my girl got a 1460 with a perfect 800 on math without a calculator.

Isnt 1000 average? 900 is pretty bad.

I brought a bunch of bone comics to read during it but the bitch moderator type person stole them and never gave them back.

I forget what I got for some reason but I don't think it was the best. I was hungover and so pissed the whole time. ( ILL GET YOU SOMEDAY WOMAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! )

Heh, I'm taking an SAT course right now, have another class tomorrow night.

Basically just go real slow through the test, don't worry if you don't answer some questions. I believe if you answer incorrectly you lose 1/4 a point, where as if you don't answer you dont lose any points however you don't gain anything.

EDIT: There's a new SAT out....well at least for CT, includes an 800 pt writing section. So instead of the norm 1600, SAT is now worth 2400.

I do too well on those kind of tests. I can just easily see myself getting perfect scores on all. Except for English and Math, because I am mast... ok, nevermind. I suck ass at everything...
