What should I do?

Hey all, I have been gone the last few days down to my military physical in Dallas. I almost passed, but the doc could not see my ear drums, so I have to go back since I have them cleaned out now. Anyways let's get to the point of my post.

I have a friend, and right now she is going through a real hard time. She is almost 18, and her family is adopting three Russian kids. The sad thing is, her mother can not even take care of her own kids, and told my friend that she needed to move out as soon as possible when she graduated. Also she has had a lot of guy troubles, and trouble with her other friends. Her doctor said she was the type to think about suicide. I have tried to to talk to her and help her, but she won't talk. Guys, what should I do? I have tried all I know, I need some help. I know a forum is an odd plcae to ask help like this, but I am at my wits end.

Do you spend a lot of time with her? Take her places and do things together, just the 2 of you, and maybe she'll open up a bit.

I guess I could try to spend time with her, but I am not sure how to ask her now. I mean, after last night it is going to be hard for me to get her out with just me. I am afraid she will be worried that I am going to try and keep talking to her. Should I jsut not say anything about her situation, and talk to her about normal everyday crap? Maybe doing that she will open up to me?

Yeah don't force it on her; if she wants to talk about it she will, if not - she won't. Just be there for her.

Just be her friend, period. She'll let you know if she wants to talk.
On another note, if she really wants to kill herself, there's not much you can do about it. Just don't feel quilty when it happens.
